The classes are given individually, starting from the previous knowledge of the student and working mainly in the style the studen is more interested in (Rock, Blues, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Tango, etc).
In the classes, we work the following spects:
• Techincal part, to develop more speed, precision and tools to apply when you’re writting or playing a song.
Se estudian técnicas como:
- Legatos.
- Sweep picking.
- Tapping with 1, 2, 3 and 4 fingers.
- String skipping.
- Combination, , etc.
• Scales, Arpeggios and Chords, always with their theorical part, developing different ways of applying them (Groups, Patterns, Rhythmic Combinations, etc.).
• Speed, developed with works on etudes or songs that has technical difficulties, structuring also routines for a better techincal development.
• Improvisations over cd’s with tracks without guitar and in different styles, in where we work the solo and melodies building and also, the rhythmic guitar, applying scales, arpeggios and chords already seen in all their variations and adding everything we see in each class so the student can understand it in a better way.
• Studying of the harmonic part of some works to understand why and learn how to compose our own song without asking for help. This spect is divided in 10 units and, after every unit ends, the teacher makes a test of the unit seen so he can check that everything is correctly understood.
• Melodic and Rhythmic reading at first sight and prepared in where we see:
- Studying of the rhythmic figures in all their spects and combinations.
- Readings in different keys, tonalities and positions.
- Rhythmic analysis of the songs.
- Ear Development.
- Rhythmic combinations over scales, etc.
All these stuff organized in programs so it can be seen in a progressive way. All the material is printed for a better prolixity and organization. This program is divided in levels with tests between every unit.
In the lessons, the instrument and everything the student could need is provided by the teacher, so the student don’t have to carry with nothing for more comfort and security.
The price of the lessons is $220, U$s 52 (4 lessons a month, plus improvisation cd, plus studying material) or $60, U$s 15, the lesson.
